INJEX 30 was the first needlefree drug delivery sytem ready to be marketed worldwide to different medical markets. INJEX was successfully started in the first markets and Rösch AG signed a worldwide exclusive cooperation with Pharmacia the market leader for growth hormon.
Beginning of 2002 Andy left the company after the supervisory board engaged a new member on the managing board. The new CEO failed completely in marketing and sales for the INJEX, burned approx. 10 Million € and in 2003 the company had to file for insolvency.
Later Jim bought back all INJEX assets and rights. He invested a lot of fresh funds in a new disposable injector with prefilled ampoules, which is completely based on the INJEX function. He kept in good contact all the time with Andy, who has meanwhile started a new company. Jim and Andy met again in 2010 and they did a due diligence on the status of needlefree drug delivery business. The result was impressive.
